how I got here

I was messing with Linux, Docker and home networking long before any of it was coursework. Years ago I made Garry's Mod mods. These days it's RimWorld mods, Roblox builds and Blender scenes.

I'm a Cybersecurity & Information Systems Architecture student (Honours BIT, Cybersecurity) in Toronto. So far that's meant MySQL database projects, a lot of networking labs, and plenty of reasons to rebuild my homelab properly.

why "RogueSector"?

My old handle, roguelineage, was too close to the game Rogue Lineage. The new name came to me on the way home from SecTor 2026, Toronto's security conference.

• NIC bonding, DNS filtering with AdGuard Home and NextDNS, Cloudflare Tunnels
• MySQL, from school projects
• Discord bots with web dashboards
• Blender for modelling and rendering
• Roblox Studio, including a coding agent hooked up through Studio's MCP server
• RimWorld modding
• Claude Code as a building partner
